Aquilegia vulgaris

Barlow columbine was this year's biggest and best surprise.

This "clematis-flowered" columbine has the most stunning star-shaped, spurless, double blooms towering on strong stems above beautiful, ferny foliage.

Multiple blooms are on each stem, and it is a stunning cut flower. The mix includes rose, almost-black, violet, wine red, dark purple, rose with white tips, white, and purple edged white.

This one is perfect for the cottage, cut flower, and/or hummingbird garden.

Attracts hummingbirds. Perennial in Zones 3-9. Ht. 32-42". Avg. 18,500 seeds/oz. Packet: 50 seeds.

NOTE: This is a color mix, and I do not know which color plants you will receive as they have not yet bloomed.

Like all perennials, the first year planted might be slow or even disappointing, but each year they get stronger and stronger and more and more beautiful. BE PATIENT.

Zone: 3-9

Size: up to 42" tall

Bloom time: early summer
