'Fuyu' persimmon is a lovely small multi or single-stemmed tree that bears delicious, non astringent, fall ripening fruit.
As described by the California Rare Fruit Growers at http://www.crfg.org/pubs/ff/persimmon.html
"Fuyu (Fuyugaki)Medium-large oblate fruit, faintly four-sided. Skin deep orange. Flesh light orange, sweet and mild. Ripens late. Keeps well and is an excellent packer and shipper. Tree vigorous, spreading, productive. Most popular nonastringent cultivar in Japan."
Plant your Fuyu persimmon tree fairly close to a wall, house, or other protected area to help prevent late freeze damage. It needs full sun and consistent moisture during the growing season. It has no real insect pests and is very disease resistant - probably one of the easiest fruits to grow!
They are usually eaten fresh, but my favorite way is to slice them thinly and dry them. They're like candy!
I will be inspecting every plant before it leaves my posession. If I find any problems with the plant, I will cancel the order and refund your payment. You will be notified via email if this happens.
Aside from the above, there will be NO refunds or exchanges available because this is a special order.
If you have any concerns, please contact me so that they can be addressed. I do my best to work with every customer to be sure they are completely satisfied.
