Brought to the states in 1887 by Giuseppe and Angella Nardello from the village of Ruoti in Southern Italy, this amazing sweet pepper is excellent fresh, but also dries easily and roasts like a dream. Incredibly prolific for a short-statured plant, fililng with 10-12" fruits early in the season.
Here's a Jimmy Nardello's recipe that looks incredible, and I can't wait to try it! http://cocoaandlavender.blogspot.com/2011/08/stuffed-again.html
Sun exposure: Full sun
Zone: Annual (perennial if freezing is prevented)
